First class vacation experience

5 of 5
We spent a blissful week at this five star home on the water. BBQing while watching the sun set with 180 degree views of the bay are now great memories. We look forward to returning! The home is spacious, new and very well appointed. What made a big difference was how truly helpful the owners of this property are. They filled us in on all the right places to visit, activities to do and the great dining that is available in the area. This meant we were all set to satisfy 3 generations of family with zero guess work. We enjoyed walks on the beaches, swimming, kayaking, photography, fine dining, visiting quintessential Maine towns and farms, and of course relaxing at this lovely home.

Lovely cottage with everything you need

5 of 5
I was looking for a cottage with a waterfront view in a quiet, cozy, charming town. And I found it with this lovely cottage in Bath, Maine! You can tell a lot of care went into the finish out of the cottage. All materials used are top notch and the furnishings are high quality as well (for example, many items in the kitchen were from Pottery Barn, Crate & Barrel, etc). The decor is cute without being nauseatingly kitschy - very appropriate for the area (i.e., lots of lobster decor!). The bed is very comfy and warm, the softest sheets I've ever experienced! Basically, we had everything we needed - even two lawn chairs and a throw blanket to go enjoy the Bath Swing Band play at the gazebo downtown. Dawn is very communicative about genuinely concerned about the comfort of your stay. She has created a fantastic welcome book that covers everything you'd need to know about the cottage, the town and surrounding areas (dining, activities, etc). It was the most valuable resource for us since cell service was not always reliable (which is EXACTLY what we wanted - to be unplugged). Our favorite activity was enjoying coffee on the two Adirondack chairs on the lawn (as shown in picture), overlooking the calm waters of the cove. It's really beautiful and the neighbors were friendly as well. We hope to make it back to Maine in the future and will certainly stay there again!

Peace and beauty

4 of 5
We loved the property. The cabin was beautiful, and the screened porch was heaven morning coffee, afternoon relaxation, or evening drinks. If there weren't so many things to do within short driving distance, We could have spent the whole time on that porch. We enjoyed the privacy, the views, and the access to the water with our rented canoes. Can't wait to go back!
