              Cosy and practical!

Great customer service! A nice basket of goodies was waiting for us when we arrived. Mary and Tom are very helpful in providing info about restaurants (Thurston's for lobster, The Common Good for popovers for breakfast). The kayaks they provided us were put to good use! We went kayaking four times at Bar Harbor, Southwest Harbor, Pretty Marsh and Bass Harbor. The studio is clean, spacious and comfortable. We had a great time!

Can I Keep This Property a Secret??!! ;-)

A gorgeous place, immaculate and beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches throughout... And, the grounds are lovely as well. I booked a week at this chalet for a Maine vacation with my Mom, who had not been back to this area in more than 20 years. This was a fabulous find! Very quiet and private, and a great place for both of us to decompress after a year of family chaos. Yet, close enough to all the area attractions that we were never bored. We covered a lot of ground during our week's stay -- including Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, Schoodic Peninsula, the Roosevelt Campobello International Park in New Brunswick (bring your passport!!), Asticou Terraces and Thula Gardens, the Penobscot Marine Museum, and many other random stops for (a) breathtakingly beautiful scenery, or (b) fun local gift shops! We also ate lots of yummy seafood, including lobster, clams, and mussels. Heaven! And the views from the deck every morning and evening were spectacular. Only sorry that I did not book this for 2 (!!) weeks.

Feels like an oceanside tree house!

This beautifully decorated cottage sits above the harbor in Southwest Harbor and has a fantastic pine tree growing around it. The views are spectacular and you really feel like you are in Maine. The unit is well equipped and private, has WIFI and cable TV. The bed is comfy and the cottage is spotless. In the early morning the sunrise lights up the harbor and reflects on the beautifully colored lobster boats. The sunset is fantastic as well. This was our first visit and will not be our last. We have laready booked next year.
