Spacious and fresh: Better than 5 Stars!

5 of 5
Loved this townhouse and will return. Spacious with 3 bedrooms, a large livingroom and kitchen area. We hit a, rare, heat wave, and the air conditioning felt wonderful upon entering. A short walk into town and a lovely setting with the deck backing up to trees. Our family enjoyed this unit tremendously, with ample space for privacy for each, and togetherness. Also, our dog was welcome, which made our vacation not only more fun, but also less expensive, because we didn't have to pay for boarding.

Wonderful Base for Acadia Exploring!

5 of 5
We wanted to explore Acadia for our honeymoon and Vicki's cabin provided the ideal base from which to do so. Equidistant from both Acadia National Park and Schoodic Peninsula, we were able to spend our days out hiking and playing and then retreat to the cabin (which just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of busy Bar Harbor) for rest and relaxation. The guest space in Vicki's thoughtfully designed and beautifully constructed Adirondack-style cabin is ideal for a couple of people looking for a unique place to call home for while traveling. Vicki was a friendly and generous host and was able to provide us many great recommendations for places to eat and things to see and do beyond what we had planned. Overall a terrific experience and would happily stay here again if/when we come back to the area!

A Wonderful Vacation Get Away

5 of 5
The vacation rental exceeded expectations. It was immaculate, appropriately furnished, provided needed technology (TV, cable, VCR) and was well stocked with housekeeping supplies, linens and even accommodating items for young children (port a crib, booster seat for eating etc. The 2 full plus 1 half bath were so convenient for our group of 3 adults and 2 children. The pool was great for us when we were not seeing the sights. We also enjoyed the pizza and ice cream within walking distance of the rental. We also ate at the seafood restaurant across from the complex and made purchases from the wine shop also within walking distance. The rental was very convenient to the park entrance, Bar Harbor and the cruise launchings. Be sure to check out the information book that is so helpful for the rental and the area. Would definitely recommend this rental!
