Lovely & comfortable house, beautiful location

            5 of 5
Suzanne's house was perfect for our big family's stay there. The house is charmingly decorated while also being incredibly comfortable and functional, stocked with everything we needed to have a fabulous time. We traveled to Bar Harbor for a big lobster dinner at a great place that Suzanne recommended, we had a big family dinner on the back deck (complete with grill and porch furniture!) We explored Hancock Point, which is quaint and beautiful, the town harbor is full of sailboats and looks out over Mount Desert Island - stunning view! The big old farmhouse was well cared for, and easily accommodated our party of 8. Suzanne went out of her way to make sure that we were comfortable, as well as giving us lots of info about the area - activities, places to eat etc. The house is a 10 min walk to a very pretty cove, and is surrounded by fields and forests and only one or two houses. There's a big back yard for kids to play in as well as a huge field with paths all around the property. Being there felt like we were truly escaping it all! Would absolutely recommend to a friend and hope to go back next year with family again!

            Overall pleasant

            5 of 5
We went with a group of friends to David's property during the labor day weekend and he was able to accommodate to our short stay. Not only did we received constant email reminders for some of the nearby sightseeing places, but also other tips in terms of getting to the place. The cottage itself is nice and clean, there is a front balcony which faces the Atlantic ocean and has an awesome view. We were able to make BBQ and enjoyed the wonderful view. The house is also pretty convenient to Acadia National Park and is also couple blocks away from many other liquor store/coffee shops/restaurants, so we found that really convenient. The house is also fully equipped with kitchen wares and furniture, so you would feel like home when you stayed here. I would definitely recommend coming to this place considering it's reasonable rate and the overall experience we got!! Thanks David!

Cozy Cottage Stay on our Visit to Maine

            4 of 5
I am shocked that this cottage has no reviews online. The guest book at the cottage is full of raving reviews about their time spent at this cottage. Our experience was no different. I wanted our visit to Maine as a family to be reflective of the natural beauty we would experience. When I saw Blueberry Cottage and Blackberry Cottage (the one two houses down), I knew this was the place we should stay. We found it to be exactly as pictured --warm, inviting, and clean. My kids loved picking wild blueberries in the nearby field for our morning pancakes, chasing butterflies and fireflies, and enjoying the surroundings. We enjoyed unplugging while eating meals on the porch, reading, and just relaxing. The cottage wasn't that far from Acadia National Park/Bar Harbor and we it was great to return to the cottage each night after our adventures.
