AMAZING VACATION - AMAZING PLACE

5 of 5
We stayed for a week while in town for the Mt. Desert Island Marathon, and Avalonia was simply wonderful. The view from the main bedroom windows each morning was stunning and peaceful. The grounds are beautiful and the property is close to everything in Bar Harbor. Arthur was very helpful through the entire process and everything he said about the place was absolutely true. We had a wonderful experience. The place is so cozy and as soon you leave you will want to rush back. Do yourself a favor and book Avalonia if you are coming to Bar Harbor, you will love it so much. Thanks Arthur and Karen for allowing us to enjoy the beauty and splenor of Bar Harbor in the beautiful Avalonia.

Wonderland

5 of 5
Off the beaten path of Acadia, we found this cute appartment, a great way to explore the subtle treasures of Acadia. While this place is on the quiet side of Desert Island, most attractions were very easy to reach within a thirty minutes drive. Bruce, the owner, was very helpful with maps and tips, also provided us with a flashlight in the middle of the night, when a storm cut the electricity. And we would definitely come back as soon as possible!
