We had a great time staying in Beechwood which is bright and comfortable. The house is fully equipped with more than plenty of towels, cooking utensils and supplies. Cooking, relaxing, and eating in common spaces was cozy and hassle-free. Our kids enjoyed the deck and the outdoor furniture, which allowed them to enjoy the beautiful marshlands and forest that surround the house and its wildlife, including hummingbirds and many types of warblers. I will definite recommend Beechwood to friends coming to Acadia

We were very pleased with our stay in this cute and charming house. The owners provided exactly what was promised. This house is located on the quiet side of the island in a tucked away area in the fishing village of Bass Harbor. It is clean and well-maintained and offers an outdoors hot tub and gazebo. The nice owners have a little coffee and pastry house down the road in Southwest Harbor. I would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a quiet visit to the Bar Harbor area.

We loved staying at Central House. We had 4 kids and 4 adults and everyone was very comfortable. The teenagers stayed in the apartment on the top floor so they had their own space, the grandparents stayed on the first floor and everyone had their own bathroom. The house was well-furnished. The bathrooms were quite deluxe and the beds were comfortable. We especially loved the front porch for reading and relaxing. We were less than a block from the charming town center of Southwest Harbor and we enjoyed patronizing the restaurants, shops and market there. We were a very short walk to the Island shuttle bus as well. We highly recommend this house.
