A Great Find

5 of 5
We cant say enough about "SOLS CLIFF HOUSE". This was our second trip back to this wonderful house. If you have a big family and want to go away all together this is the place. The views are breathtaking!!! There is so much room in this house. Its also very quiet there in the morning the sun rise right in the backyard and you can hear the lobster boats going out to fish. Its everything Maine!! The location is perfect close to Acadia and Bar Harbor. There's so much to do or you can just do nothing. Our best memories are seating around the very large dinning room table and having dinner and sitting in the living room playing whisper down the lane by the fire with the grandkids.

Pick this one - it is great!

This is a great house for a larger group. It is close to all activities in Bar Harbor, walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Another positive is off street parking and it easily accommodates a large group. It has several gathering areas as well as a large kitchen. The bathrooms are small but functional. It was a wonderful place to stay and we enjoyed our visit and would certainly come back again.

Can I Keep This Property a Secret??!! ;-)

A gorgeous place, immaculate and beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches throughout... And, the grounds are lovely as well. I booked a week at this chalet for a Maine vacation with my Mom, who had not been back to this area in more than 20 years. This was a fabulous find! Very quiet and private, and a great place for both of us to decompress after a year of family chaos. Yet, close enough to all the area attractions that we were never bored. We covered a lot of ground during our week's stay -- including Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, Schoodic Peninsula, the Roosevelt Campobello International Park in New Brunswick (bring your passport!!), Asticou Terraces and Thula Gardens, the Penobscot Marine Museum, and many other random stops for (a) breathtakingly beautiful scenery, or (b) fun local gift shops! We also ate lots of yummy seafood, including lobster, clams, and mussels. Heaven! And the views from the deck every morning and evening were spectacular. Only sorry that I did not book this for 2 (!!) weeks.
