Great Location on Mt. Desert Island

        4 of 5
My wife and I had a terrific week. The location was perfect for heading to Acadia Park/Bar Harbor or the western destinations on the island. Our contact was very responsive (but unobtrusive). Everything seemed provided and easily acessable on the property. HIghly recommended.

Quaint room overlooking gorgeous Southwest Harbor

        5 of 5
The vacation rental Dockside Inn is very quaint, relaxing and overlooks gorgeous Southwest Harbor. Sunset and sunrise views are picturesque. There are quite a few restaurants within walking distance. The customer service was great. The only two drawbacks were 1) not having a functional WIFI network and 2) the TV being very small. But even these issues were minor inconveniences on this vacation. Will definitely go back to this place when we can.

        A Nice Cozy Cabin

        5 of 5
What a wonderful vacation! My wife and I stayed in this cabin during our honeymoon. We spent the days hiking through Acadia and the evenings cuddled up in our own little getaway. The cabin had everything we could need and was very cozy. It was so nice to come home after being in the sun hiking all day to a beautiful clean retreat that we had all to ourselves. The owners were wonderful- they were helpful and responsive but in no way obtrusive. We would easily stay here again. The cabin is on the quiet side of the island so it is a little bit of a drive to the park and Bar Harbor but we think that it was perfect. The driving on the island is scenic and easy and it was well worth being away from the more touristy locations. We will be recommending this cabin to anyone that wants to visit Acadia.
