Excellent Value Cottage in Acadia

4 of 5
Thanks to Sheridy, everything from check-in to check-out went off without a hitch. The cottage features updated appliances and a fenced-in back yard. My favorite thing about the place? I was walking distance to the ocean and numerous hiking trails (including Cadillac Mtn). Each morning to begin my day, I trekked 15 minutes to the sea and took in the scenery. The price was excellent for what I received in return. A minor aside...the cottage is on Route 3, so there is occasional road noise, but it did not bother me. Suffice to say, I recommend this spot! -Brian

Just what the doctor ordered!

5 of 5
Duck Cove Farm was absolutely wonderful. The home is lovely, the gardens stunning, the view amazing and most of all we had a fantastic time. Russell and Maude, the caretakers, were helpful and hospitable and made us feel welcome. We hope to return and thought that 2-weeks would really do the trick.

Wonderful Base for Acadia Exploring!

5 of 5
We wanted to explore Acadia for our honeymoon and Vicki's cabin provided the ideal base from which to do so. Equidistant from both Acadia National Park and Schoodic Peninsula, we were able to spend our days out hiking and playing and then retreat to the cabin (which just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of busy Bar Harbor) for rest and relaxation. The guest space in Vicki's thoughtfully designed and beautifully constructed Adirondack-style cabin is ideal for a couple of people looking for a unique place to call home for while traveling. Vicki was a friendly and generous host and was able to provide us many great recommendations for places to eat and things to see and do beyond what we had planned. Overall a terrific experience and would happily stay here again if/when we come back to the area!
