Fabulous home on the bayou, close to NOLA & Attractions!

5 of 5
Our family, including my toddler & a dog, thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pelican Cove. The house is immaculate and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was stocked for any home chef and we particularly enjoyed the gas cooker on the deck for crabs and seafood. We caught LOTS of blue crab off the dock - talk about fun! The house is super convenient to grocery stores, seafood market (Kenney's), restaurants (Palmetto's) and less than 30 minutes from the French Quarter. We've stayed in the Quarter before and I will probably not stay in it again knowing I can get an entire house for the price of one hotel room. Sunsets were fabulous, we watched all kinds of wildlife and made wonderful memories. I do not think you'll be disappointed! You can tell the owners really care about their property and make sure you have everything you'd need for a truly relaxing vacation.

Let the Good Times Roll

5 of 5
We were a group of 15 adults and we rented the whole complex in the middle of April 2015. This place has charm and is a very lovely place. We were met at the gate and given a tour of the house and shown where everything was. Given information if there was an issue who to contact. It is very historic and is located in a very excellent location. We were able to walk to many areas and see a great many things. The house has information on many things to see and do while in New Orleans. The issues that we had were attended to if we had a request they were very attentive to it. It is a shame that some people do not respect the property and abuse it. We all had a wonderful time, and it is and amazing place. We also had a relaxing time in the hot tub after a long day. It was a great decision and everyone had a great time. We were able to do the WWII museum, the Madri Gras Word, the river walk, the outlet mall, the cemetery, the Casino, Bourbon Street, Frenchman Street, New Orleans School of Cooking, The French market, Swamp tour, Laura Plantation Tour, Ghost Walk, Art Museum and eat at many wonderful Restaurants. We did not have time to do the Audubon Zoo/Aquarium or go on a steamboat ride, just so many things to do within walking distance of this Historic home. I highly recommend it to anyone with an appreciation of historic homes.

Great stay!

5 of 5
My husband I decided to spend our first wedding anniversary in NOLA and we couldn't have made a better decision. We'd both been before but for more of the "college" experience and wanted something a little more upscale. This little bungalow was definitely that. Right on the outskirts of the garden district we were in walking distance of so much. The house was clean, quiet and cozy. We had everything we needed and then some. The bottle of wine in the frigde was a nice touch as well! You cannot beat the price for location and class. Will definitely be back! Thank you -
