Vacation Camp Rental

5 of 5
This is a great camp to rent. If you have a boat, it has a canal access to the camp where you can dock your boat right in front of the camp. The Ice Machine was a plus. The Kitchen is furnished fully with everything you would need (dishes, utensils, pots, bowls, etc). The owner Mr. Roy is a very nice man to deal with. We would recommend this property to anyone. We liked it so much we are going back again in October.

Just about perfect

5 of 5
We only had two nights here to break up a journey between Dallas and New Orleans but wish we'd had longer. It was a great place that really feels in the middle of nowhere. We had a wonderful relaxing day at the recreation ground, swimming in the lovely warm lake which is something you just don't do in the UK without a wetsuit. We also visited the alligator park near Natchitoches which our 6 year old loved (we adults felt it needed a bit of a makeover). My only suggestion for improvement would be wi-fi access. There is little or no cell signal and, even if there were, data roaming is very expensive in the US for us Brits. Sadly, much as we all want to get away from it all, I run a business and do need to be in touch which required some effort. Thanks though for a great diversion between the cities.
