Local luxury

5 of 5
My high school friend and I returned to new Orleans for a Saints football/NOLA reunion weekend with our husbands and toddler. It was perfect. Local New Orleans charm and modern comfort. Beautiful New Orleans, safe family neighborhood. Walking distance to hours of fun... coffee and shps on magazine, dinner at Clancy's or one of the new hipster hangouts, drinks at St. Joe's, poboys tasteoff (Domilise's and Guy's). Bonus: Offstreet parking for 2 cars. Toddler park 3 blocks toward Tchoup was unique and for us, Lagniappe.

Great Way to Start Our Week In Southern Louisiaa

5 of 5
First, Linda makes sure you are comfortable and well informed before you even arrive. And when you leave, and I left my iPod behind, she and her staff made sure to look for it, found it and mailed it off. The boat is beautiful, well appointed, comfortable and everything you need except your food and attitude are provided. The pontoon boat is a must do. We were out at dawn and sunset to do photography and we were not disappointed. If Linda is not available, she has two great people who are right nearby. Jessica was there to check us in and give us the tour. We got take out from Rita Mae's in town and groceries from the store before we got to the boat...and for our two nights we ate in on fried chicken left overs (we ordered lots from Rita Mae) and our provisions. We are already recommending this to anyone heading this way.

Impressive

5 of 5
I have been going to New Orleans for thirty five years. And have always stayed in the French Quarter. This was the first time I tried a private home, five minutes or less from the Quarter.I must admit I liked it! I felt like a part of the city and not just a vistor to the city.We could walk a half a block to St. Charles and catch the historic trollies, that brought you to downtown or the French Quarter all in about 15minutes each way. For $2.50 each. If you enjoy photography be sure to walk down St. Charles where there are beautiful southern style home with gorgeous oak trees lining the street. My favorite amenitie was the patio area under the banana trees. I am not easly impressed, but this house meet and exceeded my expectations. SAFE ! !!, Confortable!! Clean ,VERY WELL appointed property. I will stay here again. PS. This is the first time I have ever written a review.
