Awesome!!

My brothers and cousins rented this houseboat for our annual 1st weekend of May get together. Linda, the owner was so helpful and friendly and offered up so many suggestions of activities to do locally, none of which did we do. That is because the houseboat is so self-contained you don't need to do anything else except sit and relax up top in the Jacuzzi and watch the sunset over the bayou while your steaks are grilling on the BBQ and your drinks are blending on the bar. The stereo on the top deck is great too. Good tunes, good food, in such a beautiful place. The rest of the houseboat is fully equipped with all the kitchen utensils you need and most of the cooking spices and there are games and movies on dvd, bathroom and bed linens. You don't need to bring much to have a good time here. That being said you MUST get the pontoon boat for the duration of your stay. It makes a great trip even better to be able to hop in that boat and just go cruising in the bayou looking at the locals and local wildlife (alligators, turtles and furry rodents that looked like muskrats). Gros marina where you gas up is so much fun. Live bands, buckets of beer and it seems like all the locals come out on the weekend and they are super friendly. We have traveled to a lot of places on our annual trips. This one rates way up there near the top. Thank you Linda
