Tulane Graduation Weekend

4 of 5
We really liked the location. The Cottage was clean and very cozy. Just a couple minor issues, each of which there was either nothing that could be done or it was too late at night to address. The first was, though very glad the A/C worked as well as it did, the one unit was so noisy that we had to shut it down at night to sleep. And the second issue, there were two air beds in the closet, we needed one on the last night, neither had a charge to inflate and not charger in room. We used the hair dryer to fill one, but during the night it all leaked out. The other is missing one of the caps to plug it. Even with these issues, I would recommend to anyone to stay here! We are a casually planning our next visit and will see if the cottage is available. Doesn't hurt that the pub two doors down holds crawfish boils Fridays!

Great location

4 of 5
The little cottage is cute and easy walking distance to Bourbon street and Frenchman street. Could be closer but keeps the noise out. Everything in the house is great. Loved Netflix for our hungover mornings :) Only downside was the beds were a bit squeaky when sleeping/moving around. That's the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Otherwise everything was fabulous!

A Wonderful Retreat

5 of 5
We recently spent 9 wonderful days at Bonne Terre. The cottage is lovely and so well furnished. The kitchen is fully stocked. Jen has thought of everything you could possibly need for a great visit. CD's, books, and DVD's are plentiful, but it was just fun to sit on the porch with a cup of hot tea and watch the chickens and horses in the back. Since my husband is from central Louisiana and I graduated from high school (eons ago!) in Breaux Bridge, we were already familiar with the area, but we still found plenty of things to do and people to see. Jen is a wonderful hostess. Even though she was quite sick while we were there, she was more concerned that we were having a good time and had everything we needed. (We did.) We are not artists, but this is truly a retreat. We're already planning for our next visit. Thanks, Jen, for a wonderful week.
