Best location, Great condition

5 of 5
The location was perfect, walking distance to Oak street, restaurants, cafes and the best was the street car stop was just a block away. Nice neighborhood. Can take trolley to French Quarter or just 15 mins drive. We preferred trolley !! House is very well maintained, and has kept an old charm. Very clean. Nice porch. Big kitchen. Family room was little small, but perfect. Enjoyed a lot.

Fabulous! The perfect spot for a NO visit.

We can't imagine a better home base for our weekend in New Orleans. We had 4 couples for a long weekend and there was plenty of space for everyone. The house is just a few blocks from Bourbon Street and walking distance to almost everything we wanted to do but it was far enough off the beaten path that it was private and relatively quiet. It's a very traditional NOLA home with authentic decor, fixtures, and amenities but nicely updated with a beautiful kitchen, comfy furniture, and nice baths. The owners were accomodating and pleasant to work with and the property manager was very responsive when we had a few questions after checking in. While renting a house was a little more expensive than separate hotel rooms, we feel like it was less expensive in the end since we had coffee, snacks, a few cocktails and even one carry out dinner at the house rather than having every meal and beverage out in a restaurant. And, it was great to have a comfortable place for a little downtime between adventures on the town. We would definitely book here again and have already recommended it to a friend who visits NO frequently.

Beautiful!

5 of 5
This was our second time staying with VRNOLA and in the same unit. It's absolutely beautiful and very well maintained, you wouldn't know it is used as a rental property. The finishings in the unit are all very nice, hardwood floors, stainless steel, granite, and two great bathrooms. There is plenty of room for your clothes including double closets in each bedroom. Location is AMAZING. Only about 4 blocks from the heart of bourbon street, 5 blocks to Jackson Square, St. Louis Cathedral and Cafe Du Monde as well as a 20 minute walk to the convention centre. We were in town for a convention so it was great to be able to eat breakfast and make our own coffee before heading out because every restaurant is so busy. There are plenty of amazing restaurants only a short walk from the condo. We got to enjoy a lot of traditional New Orleans fare and some great Italian and French all within a 5-10 minute walk. The free wifi is great especially as business owners. We are able to keep in touch with our clients and staff on a regular basis and not miss out on anything - and it's free! I wouldn't waste my time on a hotel, living in a tiny bedroom for my vacation. This unit was cheaper than the hotel that our organization was staying at for the conference. And in a better location (closer to conference and not on Bourbon Street). It can be a little noisy at night with the action from the House of Blues (which is directly across the road), but it's not near as loud as Bourbon and you really cannot hear it in either of the bedrooms. The first time we rented we had a car. It was very expensive to leave the car in a parking lot for 7 days so this time we didn't rent one. You really don't need one. We took the street car instead ($3-4 for an all day pass) or we walked. There is a car rental place on canal if we really needed to go somewhere for a day. Great location, clean, safe and secure building, and reasonable price. How can you go wrong.
