Beautiful!

5 of 5
This was our second time staying with VRNOLA and in the same unit. It's absolutely beautiful and very well maintained, you wouldn't know it is used as a rental property. The finishings in the unit are all very nice, hardwood floors, stainless steel, granite, and two great bathrooms. There is plenty of room for your clothes including double closets in each bedroom. Location is AMAZING. Only about 4 blocks from the heart of bourbon street, 5 blocks to Jackson Square, St. Louis Cathedral and Cafe Du Monde as well as a 20 minute walk to the convention centre. We were in town for a convention so it was great to be able to eat breakfast and make our own coffee before heading out because every restaurant is so busy. There are plenty of amazing restaurants only a short walk from the condo. We got to enjoy a lot of traditional New Orleans fare and some great Italian and French all within a 5-10 minute walk. The free wifi is great especially as business owners. We are able to keep in touch with our clients and staff on a regular basis and not miss out on anything - and it's free! I wouldn't waste my time on a hotel, living in a tiny bedroom for my vacation. This unit was cheaper than the hotel that our organization was staying at for the conference. And in a better location (closer to conference and not on Bourbon Street). It can be a little noisy at night with the action from the House of Blues (which is directly across the road), but it's not near as loud as Bourbon and you really cannot hear it in either of the bedrooms. The first time we rented we had a car. It was very expensive to leave the car in a parking lot for 7 days so this time we didn't rent one. You really don't need one. We took the street car instead ($3-4 for an all day pass) or we walked. There is a car rental place on canal if we really needed to go somewhere for a day. Great location, clean, safe and secure building, and reasonable price. How can you go wrong.

Cozy, Safe and easily Accessible

4 of 5
Right off the St. Charles Streetcar, this property was clean and cozy - just what we were looking for. Off street parking was a plus - in addition the Garden District Safety Department patroled the area quite often. Easy access to Magazine Street restaurants and shops. Definitely would stay here again.

Charm and Style That Just Won't Quit

5 of 5
Our little family group of five (all grown-ups) stayed at the Marigny Beauty for almost a week and LOVED it. The location was perfect for accessing all the cool stuff on foot, and we loved wandering around the local Marigny and Bywater neighborhoods. We're all fans of old historic properties, and this place didn't disappoint. The photos don't really do it justice. It has all the charm and coolness of the classic "camelback" shotgun houses. Carrie has great taste in furniture, paint colors and overall awesomeness. Having one bathroom for five people was a bit challenging, of course, but we made use of the little vanity/sink combo outside the bathroom and it was just fine. The outside upstairs patio is also lovely, esp with the banana tree foliage in full regalia....it felt to tropical and glorious to be up there. We even witnessed an epic thunderstorm! Lastly, we had a great experience with both Heather the manager, and Carrie the owner. Both really cordial ladies who were eager to help. We will come back for sure! Jen
