Great apartment in a great location

5 of 5
My friend and I stayed here for Mardi Gras this year and it was a great location. It is within walking distance to anything you may need; groceries, drug store, restaurants and shopping. It's also the perfect location for the parades. There is a laundry facility directly across the street. Parking was easy. We parked directly in front of the apartment most of the time. The beds were super comfortable. I have a bad back and I wanted to take the bed home with me! The tv worked fine for us. The shower was a little confusing, but we eventually figured it out. It's new and one of those fancy schmancy ones. Yes, the kitchen is small but it serves it's purpose. We used the microwave to heat up leftovers and used the coffee maker every morning. Besides, who visits New Orleans and cooks?! You should be eating at all the wonderful restaurants because you won't find this kind of food anywhere else. I would definitely stay here again! I would like to address the comments regarding the area being unsafe. If you aren't familiar with New Orleans, most of New Orleans is going to seem shady to you. In order to get to the Garden District and Uptown areas, you have to drive through some less fortunate areas. Once again, that's New Orleans. It's a very old city with lots of history and has been through enormous plights. This area is perfectly safe. It's also going through a ton of renovations. It's just old and full of character. Tip: Watch out for the trees along the street curbs; especially on St. Charles. They don't seem to respect the boundaries ;)

Great!

5 of 5
This was a wonderful apartment. Central air, all amenities described. Owner provided coffee and water which was really appreciated. Some really excellent restaurants within walking distance. Street parking only and we were able to park close. The neighborhood is safe with a lot of hipsters. Internet was excellent. We enjoyed our stay.

Quiet and Lovely Apt

5 of 5
The apt was perfect! We took a girls weekend trip to NOLA and found this gem. Very spacious with plenty of room for 4 girls to spreadout and get ready. Very cool little bars directly across the street and just 2 very short blocks from Bourbon St and 4 short blocks to Decatur St. The staff was very friendly and gave lots a great tips and advice on places to visit. Checked on us everytime we saw them, but never bothered us in our room. I will be a repeat visitor to the St. Phillip Apt.
