Recent New Orleans Reviews

Impressive

5 of 5
I have been going to New Orleans for thirty five years. And have always stayed in the French Quarter. This was the first time I tried a private home, five minutes or less from the Quarter.I must admit I liked it! I felt like a part of the city and not just a vistor to the city.We could walk a half a block to St. Charles and catch the historic trollies, that brought you to downtown or the French Quarter all in about 15minutes each way. For $2.50 each. If you enjoy photography be sure to walk down St. Charles where there are beautiful southern style home with gorgeous oak trees lining the street. My favorite amenitie was the patio area under the banana trees. I am not easly impressed, but this house meet and exceeded my expectations. SAFE ! !!, Confortable!! Clean ,VERY WELL appointed property. I will stay here again. PS. This is the first time I have ever written a review.

Perfect Location - Feel like a local!

5 of 5
We loved our stay in this French Quarter condo. Seriously perfect location. Easily walked anywhere we wanted to go or easy to catch a trolley. Johnny's next door is definitely a must stop for food - for breakfast or PoBoy's. Crescent City Brewhouse around the corner on Decatur was a good place to end the night with a good beer or two and enjoy the jazz. Could hear the calliope music from the steamboat daily, which was cool. Quick walk to Jackson square, Preservation Hall and all the other fabulous dining places. We took the advice of another renter and tried the Peanut Butter burger at Yo Mama's Bar and Grill - good call! Seriously good. Stop there after the show! The condo itself was well appointed and comfortable for the size, everything we needed and so nice to be so close that we'd stop in a few times a day to cool off, relax and head back out refreshed. Our anniversary trip was perfect in every way. We'd stay again!

Perfect Home

5 of 5
My husband, mother in law and I stayed a week and can't say enough good things about the home. The location was close to everything in uptown and the home was beautiful. Elizabeth the owner was very responsive when we had a crisis of running out of toilet paper when we were babysitting our 2 grandbabies. We would recommend this home to anyone who wants a quiet lovely home to come back to after seeing the town.
