GREAT PLACE TO STAY TO ENJOY A GREAT CITY

5 of 5
We stayed the July 4th weekend and had an amazing time! This is a nice home convenient to the trolley that will take you right down in the heart of the city. Also a Walgreen's where you can purchase your trolley pass. A grocery store if you are in the mood for cooking. Burger King if you want something on the go. There's a park near by with an area for kids to play or you can have a picnic. There's a beautifully maintained backyard with a nice sitting area. A lovely living spaces and outstanding backyard set this place apart from many places I have stay. I WISH I COULD HAVE STAY LONGER. I never got the chance to meet Jackie Schick, but Andy Wheeler was the Bomb. When you think of going above the call of customer service, his name should be put at the top. He was very helpful, funny, smart, and just enjoyable to be around and talk to, no matter what you needed.

VERY NICE WITH A COUPLE OF WARTS

5 of 5
First off, yes, we would choose to rent this unit again. Overall, both the building and condo were very nice and comfortable. Front door staff were friendly and helpful. It is only two blocks to the French Quarter and there are plenty of restaurants close by. The cooking tools were as good or better than most other apartment rentals. The pool was a hit with my daughters each evening. Now, for the warts: there must be a problem with the availability of some of the halogen light bulbs. They were missing in the bathroom and LED desk lamps were provided in their place. There was a TV in the bedroom but no electric outlet close enough to plug it in. Only one trash bag was provided for the kitchen (that we found). The CBD is very difficult to walk around due to building reconstruction and sidewalk closures. Also, there are a significant number of panhandlers on all the blocks. To be fair, the CBD issues are issues that all the hotels in the area suffer and are not limited to this property. So, yes, when we visit the French Quarter again, I will definitely stay here again and will consider Stay Alfred accommodations in their other cities.
