When we arrived from the airport at 9:00 in the morning the property gave the impression as a substantial development with a security gate guarding a larger inner courtyard. The unit is large with three bedrooms, two in-suites, a half bath, and large open eating, kitchen and living area. Well-furnished and very clean. As well, it is located close to Valley Arcade which has currency exchange, a bank and an exquisite little Italian restaurant. Given Nairobi's huge traffic problem, the unit is located close to James Gichuru Road which is a fast way over to Riverside Drive and then Uhuru Highway which cuts through the centre of Nairobi thus avoiding traffic jams on Ngong Road or Kenyatta Avenue. A tremendous advantage. It is also fast to Chiromo Road off James Gichuru leading out to the Rift Valley and such towns as Naivasha, Nakuru, Kericho, Eldoret and Kitale and on to Uganda. Everything works out well for location. The owner/manager George is very accommodating as he arranged for a rental vehicle for us and provided numerous timely responses to all our queries. There is no question that we would stay here again. The only small detail is that the kitchen tap needs repair as it is quite loose but Tony the caretaker now knows about this and it will be fixed. Al in all, a terrific apartment in a secure area of Nairobi with quick access to Nairobi centre using James Gichuru Road over to Waiyaki Way.
