Exceeded Expectations

5 of 5
We celebrated 3 family birthdays and the end of the summer at the Parker Lake Lodge and we all loved it. The owners were most gracious answering the multitude of questions before arrival, with patience. The cottage was beautiful and had ample room for our party of 8, including our 1 year old grandson. The kitchen was more than stocked with cooking utensils, dinnerware, 2 refrigerators, a dishwasher and everything we needed for the week. The comment was made many times that "we rented a lake!" We spent everyday floating in the lake, trying our hand at paddle boarding, canoeing, water biking and spending quality family time together. Technology was kept to a minimum and tv turned on only once. We hiked to the frog pond daily and took a day trip to Paducah to tour the National Quilt Museum which was worthy of our day away from the lake. We also rented a ski boat from Turtle Bay Marina to tour Barkley Lake which was fun seeing the beautiful lake and cottages. We will certainly rent this gorgeous property again!
