My family and I stayed in this beautiful apartment for four days this past August. The apartment looks exactly as it is portrayed in the pictures with two large bedrooms, a third sleeping area, kitchen, bath, shower, separate toilet, and living area. The view from the balcony was beautiful. Two clarifications however, are that the apartment does have a TV and cable in the living area (not shown in pics) , and the shower is a shower "room". It's not a tub with a spray handle--the whole room is a shower:-)
The location was great for us since we have kids, and we went daily to the market on the first floor of the condo. Likewise, the Kachidoki subway station is a short 5 minute walk away, and the Tokyo subway is easily navigable to everywhere in the city.
We can't compliment Peter enough for his help and advice on our arrival. After a very thorough orientation and instructions on the apartment, he made some recommendations for a lively area for dinner--a manga street nearby. Four hours later, we were lost in Tokyo, but Peter met us out, and showed us the way--incredible! Thank You.
My only other piece of advice is regarding what others have observed, namely that the apartment is located in a quiet district of Tokyo. If you want to be in the middle of Tokyo glitz and glamour, then stay directly in Ginza, which looks like the best amalgam of New York, Paris, and LA.
Overall, we had a great time, and Scott and Peter made everything extremely easy to organize. I would have been challenged to find anywhere as nice (and amazingly large for Tokyo), anywhere else for a similar cost. This is a great value and a wonderful place to stay in Tokyo.
