A STAY IN JAMAICA LIKE NO OTHER

5 of 5
27 family members and me visited Jamaica in January 2015. We rented 3 homes in the same subdivsion but everyone, from sun up to sun down, gravitated to Fanatasea. That is because the amenities at Fantasea are incredible. Add to that the sea views from the open-air living quarters, from the balcony and from every room in the house. The property manager Marcia and housekeeper Sharon made sure that all of our needs were met. We requested an independent chef (which is available for hire) and he made us all 2 meals per day to die for. The chef and Sharon assisted us with the food shopping and made sure that the freshest foods, fish and fruits were always available to us. Sharon maintained the house spotlessly, making certain that bed linens and towels were refreshed daily. The grounds at Fantasea are lush with many tropical flowers and palm trees. The house is on a hill which makese for great daily exercises: walking, jogging or running after nonstop rum punch drinks and two decadent meals per day. The owner, Rudy, is a great and fair business man. Rudy we loved your home, loved its architectural design and your decorating style. Marcia, Sharon and Chef Elvis, thanks for extending yourself to us and making our trip forever memorable. WE WILL BE Back!! Only not nearly so many of us at one time!!!

My new favorite getaway

5 of 5
When we first planned a family getaway we had our hearts set on a villa in our long time favorite place of Greatbay or Teasutre Beach. We were so upset when we couldnt find anywhere to stay. Then we heard about a wonderful villa in Whitehouse. We could not be more pleased. La Vista is everything we wanted and so much more. The owners stopped by to check on us but we were in the capable hands of Pam, the sweetest housekeeper. We were so at home, leaving was the hardest thing. Bluefields Beach, a place filled with childhood memories was just up the road to the left. The best fried fish to the right. in between we had a wonderful pool to lazy by and comfy chairs to snoze in. I loved waking up to see the sea outside my window and the smell of a good Jamaican breakfast in the air. I would go back tomorrow.

A memorable Jamaican experience in a wonderful cove. Fabulous

5 of 5
This unique home on the South Island is gorgeous and has everything to offer. It is a two hour drive from the airport and well worth it if you are looking for a Jamaican experience away from tourists. It is beautifully situated in a cove were you can soak up the sun, kayak, snorkel or just chill with a good book at the waters edge. Literally. Enjoying a fresh cup of local coffee from the bedroom balcony was a wonderful way to wake up. The local fisherman who sold fresh caught lobster from his bought was a close second. The house staff looked after us so well and showed us great Jamaican hospitality. Rheama cooked local food at our request and Leary served it with a smile. The property is wonderfully landscaped and we could pick fresh figs, bananas and limes. Our teenagers loved the wifi but were most impressed by the outdoor showers overlooking the ocean. We each had our own. No tourists or buffets here just quiet countryside at the ocean. A wonderful Christmas for our family.
