You need a car to get here. You travel through little picturesque villages up the mountain and arrive at a place of uncompromising beauty and luxury. I refer to the scenery, the people and the villa. Barbara, the owner, can not do enough to make you feel at home. She had left water in the
fridge, beer in the fridge, jams and jellies in a basket, a cake on the table and one day she delivered us a bag of oranges from her own orchard. The Villa is spacious. We had the two person accommodation. There are also 4 person and 6 person. Amenities include gas stove, microwave, fridge and a fully equipped kitchen. The bedroom is separate and large. It has an armoir, two bedside tables, a flat screen TV, with satellite reception and free wifi. The bathroom is the third room and boasts a soaker tub, shower accessory, a bidet, a hair dryer and all matching ceramic detailing. There is also free laundry facilities, an iron and ironing board.
Outside our rooms is a beautiful courtyard and beyond that a
little Olive Garden and beside that is a newly constructed and never used barbecue. We used the villa as our launching pad to visit the surrounding area; Sorrento, the Amalfi coast, Pompeei, etc. We stayed 4 days and that was too short. You need at least a week and more. We were too busy and didn't get to enjoy relaxing in the sun at the Villa. It is heavenly. It is quality at an unbelievably reasonable price. Electricity is pay as you go, but you don't use much. It's warm and the stove is gas. You won't be disappointed....just stay longer, or you will be disappointed :)
