This is a lovely, clean, light and well-equipped apartment in a super location. We could walk to The Frari, Santa Margharita and all of the neighborhood. The San Rocco Scuola is nearby, as is Santa Margherita square with its lovely spots to sit, have a coffee, lunch. Gelato at Mille Voglie (you can have a nice pannini before, at the next window). Zucca is a terrific place to eat as is the trattoria across the canal (Ponte Meglie I think). But what was wonderful for us -- we looked forward each night to coming home, sauteeing some fish and watching and hearing the life of the canals right in front of us. The apartment is lovely, very light, sleek, with a very functional well-equipped kitchen and the biggest fridge in Europe. It is very quiet when you close the windows too. Then what we all fear -- a medical emergency in a foreign country. I woke up with toothache tht would not stop. We tod Sebastiano and he made an appointment with his own dentist for me. i had to have an extraction and this kind, lovely man was with us every step of the way, including accompanying us to the pharmacia. Bravo Sebastiano. We will be back for another month next year and this time hope there is no other "emergency." Your kindness is exquisite and so appreciated by us. Ciao a dopo.
