This apartment was a spectacular choice for us - two couples vacationing together. The view from every room overlooks the magnificent hills of Umbria and is utterly mesmerizing. Sabrina is so warm and welcoming; she is available to answer any questions to help her guests. Her gracious style is so charming! She helped with directions, taxis, restaurant and cooking class recommendations, train schedules, and she even baked us a delicious cake!
The apartment is set up beautifully for two couples, with two master bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and then the middle publc sitting and eating space and kitchen. The apartment is super clean, has good beds, great showers, air-conditioning, and washing machine. The location couldn't be better. On a quiet residential street, everything is within walking distance. At the corner, up the street, is Al Pozzo Etrusco, one of the five best restaurants in city. To mention a few restaurants closeby: fabulous pizza at Sfizio, 50 meters further is Blue Bar, La Palumba (with the best steak with truffle sauce I ever had in all of Europe). Restaurants, like #1 L'Antica Rupe, #4 Trattoria del Moro are all within 10-15 minute walks. The food and wine may be best in all of Italy and extremely reasonable (rankings are from Trip Advisor, which were pretty accurate). Shopping is just around the corner, as are historic attractions, such as the Duomo, Cave City, and Underground City. We felt like part of the neighborhood; local people couldn't be nicer. Descriptions posted and photos were as advertised. Neither we, nor the other couple we traveled with, had ever rented an apartment in Europe. Our week there exceeded our highest expectations. What a great, economical way to travel. As Sabrina says, "Mamma mia!"
