AMAZING VACATION!!

5 of 5
You know you've chosen the perfect vacation spot once you drive up to the beautiful villa nestled near the quaint town, Citta della Pieve. The well manicured garden and the unforgettable smell of lavender welcomes you as you walk up to the front door. The backyard is perfect for kicking around a soccer ball or enjoying a picnic with family and friends. Inside, the beds were comfortable and the towels were luxurious. We really felt spoiled here. Not only is the villa stunning, Jacopo made the stay worthwhile. We never saw him without a smile on his face. His laugh was infectious and even though none of us spoke Italian, we always wanted to laugh alongside him because he always seemed to be having a great time. He really treats you like you're apart of the family. He was always willing to offer his guidance about what to do in the area and helped to answer any questions we had. We travelled with a rambunctious group of 13 (5 adults and 8 college kids) and caused a little bit of mayhem at the villa but Jacopo was always accommodating. He really went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. He helped us organize transportation to the villa and helped arrange our van rental during our stay at a very reasonable price. We also enjoyed using the bikes offered at the villa to explore the town. On our first night we had dinner at the villa and the food was out of this world. We highly recommend the welcoming meal! We had two dinners and three breakfasts here. We still talk about the gnocchi, cappuccino and tiramisu. Someone in our group was gluten intolerant and Jacopo accommodated his food allergy (which we really appreciated!). We always left the table feeling full and satisfied with his incredible meals. After staying at Podere Baiocco, we stayed at 2 more villas in Italy and none of us could forget the villa in Citta della Pieve. It was, most certainly, our top favorite place to stay in Italy! Thank you, Jacopo! You rock, Jacopo!. You put up with our crazy antics with a smile on your face. We hope to see you again.

WELCOME HOME TO TUSCANY!

5 of 5
A beautiful authentic Italian villa, in the midst of the Tuscan countryside. All the benefits of being "off the grid", while in close proximity to the wonders of Florence and Siena, and numerous spectacular Tuscan villages. The property is exactly as it is described; the views are spectacular from each and every window. The home is immaculate and the owner is attentive without crowding you.

A PERFECT AND IDYLLIC PLACE TO STAY IN TUSCANY.

5 of 5
We stayed at Le Argille to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with our children, their spouses and our grandchildren. There were 12 of us - six adults and six children ranging in age from almost 2 to almost 12 years. The villa is beautifully located amongst olive groves with a commanding and lovely view of the surrounding countryside. While quiet and secluded, It is very convenient to Florence, Sienna and other hill towns. We used both the villa and the guest house and were extremely comfortable. The property has been beautifully restored with every modern convenience while still retaining its charm and original character. The facilities include a large, wonderful infinity pool and hot tub, which was used and appreciated by us (especially the kids) after a day of sightseeing. The children also loved the soccer field and the wonderful tree house on the property. There is air-conditioning, a washer-dryer in the villa and another in the guest house. This property is ideal for families but would be equally wonderful for 3 -4 couples. The entire property was well maintained, immaculate and comfortable. We enjoyed having drinks and dinner (prepared by the resident caretaker/cook), at the outdoor kitchen/ dining area and pavilion. (The dinners and breakfasts are at an additional, but very reasonable cost and were wonderful.) The agent for the property was welcoming and extremely helpful. She made sure that all was perfect. The caretaker/cook made us so comfortable and prepared meals that everyone loved. She was indispensable. The only problem with staying at Le Argille is that we had to leave - no one wanted to.
