Roman Retreat

5 of 5
If you want a comfortable, quiet and cozy retreat after a hard day of exploring the streets of Rome, this is the place! When we arrived, we were greeted by Rodolfo and Irina, who made sure we knew everything we needed to know about the apartment and neighborhood. The beds were comfortable and it was a luxury to have two bathrooms with excellent showers and plenty of towels. Wifi worked perfectly. Trastevere is a delightful area--just cross a bridge to visit other areas of Rome. It's an easy walk or cab ride to the Vatican. We enjoyed a couple of very fine meals at Hosteria Luce right across the street from the apartment. Rodolfo promptly answered my many e-mails prior to our visit, and kindly allowed me to change my arrival dates when I needed to. I highly recommend this lovely, sunny apartment--I threw a coin in the Trevi Fountain to make sure I return to Rome someday soon.

Very comfortable. Convenient location. Safe, secure and air conditioned!

5 of 5
We ended our month long honeymoon with a relaxing week in Rome, and we are very glad we decided to book this apartment! It was +38 and up all week and the air conditioner kept it very comfortable in the apartment. The bathroom, while smaller than we're used to in Canada, was very efficient and had everything we needed. The pickup to and from the airport that we booked through the owner was extremely convenient and highly recommended! We had heard a ton of bad stories about the taxis in Rome, especially from the airport, but our driver was waiting for us after we got our luggage with our names on a sign (even though it took an hour to get our luggage due to a busy flying day, he was waiting with a smile on his face and didn't even mention the wait!). On our day of departure he was waiting for us in front of the apartment early and happy to see us when we came down. The grocery store was a nice bonus as well. It is across the cobblestone street, and the owners daughter helped us pick out some nice breads and meats for sandwiches. She caught on that we didn't speak a word of Italian and was very happy to help us. Overall the experience with Luca was very good, and I would recommend it to anyone I know who was travelling to Rome!

Wonderful location on a quaint alley

4 of 5
Romula was wonderful to deal with from the start of the booking process through check out. The apartment is at the end of a beautiful alley. It is centrally located to just about everything to see in Rome. We walked the city and only had to use public transportation once. There is plenty to see and do very close to the apartment. The apartment itself is small and cozy, is quite for its location, and has T,.V with limited english channels. Our only complaint is that the shower was very small and we would run out of hot water with three people trying to shower in the morning.
