                      Beautiful Studio

                      5 of 5
We stayed at David's place in Rome for four nights August 25th and the apartment was perfect. David is a perfect host. Even though we got a little late on the night of our arrival, he waited patiently at the apartment, helping us with directions and also had a nice bottle of wine waiting for us. Throughout our trip, David was always available on the phone and gave us very helpful tips on places to visit and how to commute. On our last daywe took advantage of booking the transfer to the airport through him. The apartment itself is nice, cosy and welcoming after a long and tiring day of tourist life the fantastic jacuzzi is god sent. It is a studio, but perfect and more than sufficient for two people. It is neat and clean and everything works perfectly. There is a fruit vendor and a grocery store right outside for all your daily needs which makes things easy. The apartment isn't in the heart of Rome, but it is well connected with the Trastevere Station just a short walk away. Busses, trams and metros are also easily available ( 100 meters from the apartment )so commuting to major destinations was easy and quick. The fact that the apartment was not in the centre of Rome worked well for us as the area was quiet at night and in the mornings and we really liked being in a genuine and authentic area . But if you're looking to be surrounded by tourists and the noise they come with, you might want to look at other options. It was perfect for us. We had a wonderful time staying at this apartment in Rome and would highly recommend it to everyone in the Homeaway community. THanks so much David

                      Best apartment in Rome

                      5 of 5
When looking for places to stay for my trip to Rome, we knew we wanted to stay in an apartment to have a little bit more of an authentic experience (versus staying in an impersonal hotel room). I looked on Homeaway for reviews and saw Apartment Trastevere... The pictures looked gorgeous and the reviews were excellent, so I booked hoping that the pictures and reviews would be accurate for my experience. I am happy to say that all of the glowing reviews and pictures are 100% accurate and spot-on. This apartment is, in a word, exceptional. Rosaria goes above and beyond every chance she gets to ensure that your stay is comfortable. My flight into Rome arrived well before check-in time... Not a problem, and we were greeted with a smile (which after a long day of flying is always appreciated). The rooms was spotless and beautifully arranged. The front bedroom was probably my favorite part of the apartment - it was huge and confortable. The Trastevere area is, I think, authentically Roman, and never once did I feel unsafe (which is especially important for a family). The neighborhood also has several great restaurants (Augusto just down the street is particularly good and decently priced), markets, pharmacies. The location is perfet to visit the city, it's just in the middle of the historic center of Rome. Rosaria is warm, kind, and always on hand to help with anything you need. We needed to print out our pass to go to the Vatican Museums and she was happy to do it for us! Finally, on my last day when I was leaving for Firenze, Rosaria arranged for us a shuttle service to Termini so we wouldn't have to lug our (very heavy) bags through the bus. That is the definition of good customer service and going the extra mile to ensure your clients are happy. This is by far the best apartment in Rome... It's a truly exceptional place. When we come back to Rome, there's no question as to where we'll be staying...

                      Great location for experiencing Rome

                      5 of 5
This apartment was perfect for our group of seven. The Trastevere location is excellent for walking access to all the main tourist sites and is, perhaps as important, a great neighborhood for restaurants. Strolling up the cobblestone street to Piazza Santa Maria was something our whole group enjoyed. The area was busy but never felt overcrowded. We were in Rome in August when the temperatures hit 90 every day. The AC in each individual room was much appreciated. Eleonora (and Orlando) were accommodating and made arrangements for us to drop our bags early morning our first day in. The cooking utensils could use some upgrading but that's about the only slight negative I can think of. The apartment was clean and adequate towels and linens were provided. I would definitely return to Marilyn and recommend it highly. A segway tour with Rex-Tours (City Tour) was a highlight for the group as well.
