Wonderful Place to Stay in Rome

5 of 5
We stayed for 8 nights with our adult boys (22 and 25) and had a wonderful time. Key observations. 1. It was easy to work with Rodolfo throughout the process from addressing questions, making a reservation and checking in and out. 2. The apartment is exactly as advertised. It was wonderful to have a washer/dryer and air conditioning. Plus, the apartment is on the third floor and there is a small elevator. 3. The location is wonderful. There are two grocery stores within a 5 minute walk, 2 package stores on the street and literally dozens of restaurants within a 10-15 minute walk. 4. Speaking of walking, we walked virtually everywhere. Its about a 30-35 minute walk to the Vatican and 20-25 minutes to the Pantheon. However, if you need other forms of transportation, there is taxi stand that is 5 minutes away along with the bus and tram stops. Rome is a beautiful City and we did much sight-seeing during the day. It was great to have a nice comfortable apartment to return to at the end of each day.

Perfect - Close to St. Peter's!

5 of 5
This apartment was perfect for our one month stay in Rome. Rodolfo was very accommodating and made everything very easy for us from the time we first inquired about staying there. He was great about communicating via email prior to our visit. Then when we arrived, he and his interpreter met us at the apartment and went over everything to make certain we had what we needed for our stay. He also arranged for our taxi pick up to the airport when we departed. The apartment has beautiful natural light from nice big windows, two good size bedrooms, beautiful bathrooms with heated towel racks and a nice functional kitchen. It has a small living area (really just a small sofa in the kitchen by the TV) but it was fine for the two of us. The upstairs bedroom gave us plenty of room for the occasional visit from our daughter who was attending the American University a few miles away. All of the appliances and plumbing worked fantastic - and there was even a washer dryer! The apartment is very close - maybe 1/2 mile - to The Vatican and we were able to attend mass as St. Peter's whenever we wanted. It is also close to bus line and easy walking distance to Campo de Fiori and Jewish ghetto, and neighborhoods on east side of Tiber as well as Trastevere, just to the south. The walk along the Gianicolo Hill is beautiful and begins just at the end of the street. This is a very nice apartment and we would highly recommend staying here.
