Perfect - Close to St. Peter's!

5 of 5
This apartment was perfect for our one month stay in Rome. Rodolfo was very accommodating and made everything very easy for us from the time we first inquired about staying there. He was great about communicating via email prior to our visit. Then when we arrived, he and his interpreter met us at the apartment and went over everything to make certain we had what we needed for our stay. He also arranged for our taxi pick up to the airport when we departed. The apartment has beautiful natural light from nice big windows, two good size bedrooms, beautiful bathrooms with heated towel racks and a nice functional kitchen. It has a small living area (really just a small sofa in the kitchen by the TV) but it was fine for the two of us. The upstairs bedroom gave us plenty of room for the occasional visit from our daughter who was attending the American University a few miles away. All of the appliances and plumbing worked fantastic - and there was even a washer dryer! The apartment is very close - maybe 1/2 mile - to The Vatican and we were able to attend mass as St. Peter's whenever we wanted. It is also close to bus line and easy walking distance to Campo de Fiori and Jewish ghetto, and neighborhoods on east side of Tiber as well as Trastevere, just to the south. The walk along the Gianicolo Hill is beautiful and begins just at the end of the street. This is a very nice apartment and we would highly recommend staying here.

Great Location

4 of 5
The apartment is clean, comfortable and funktional. The shower is a bit small and getting used to. The location of the apartment is very central. Most attractions are within walking distance. There are many good restaurants an markets nearby. A great help for us was Antonio Caffari. He picked us up from the airport, took us back there and gave us lots of helpful hints. We had a very nice time in Rome. Thank you very much.

Perfect for Us

5 of 5
My husband and I stayed in this apartment for 1 week in September. It was perfect. We arranged an airport pick-up - - thank you, Carmela, for the suggestion and arrangements made. We were met at the apartment and Carmela immediately showed us how to make Italian coffee ..... we had never done it before and the demo was welcome. We made that coffee every day of our stay in Italy. All the basic supplies that we needed in the kitchen and bathroom were available. The apartment was very clean, bright, spacious and quiet. We appreciated the wifi and emails to Carmela with questions about transportation, etc. were answered promptly. She also helped us arrange a private guide to visit the Vatican. We felt completely safe in the apartment and have recommended it to our friends. The vibrancy of the neighbourhood with all sorts of places to shop was welcomed. We walked to most "tourist sites" in Rome and also travelled by bus easily. Thank you, Carmela, for making us feel so welcome. The apartment was perfect for us.
