A studio gem with gorgeous seaside view

4 of 5
This historic villa has a beautiful view of the ancient city of Gaeta across the bay. The studio flat had all the amenities we needed, including well-lit bath, small kitchen and nice furniture. We loved opening the shutters in the morning for our perfect view and sitting on the terrace in the breeze. The studio was clean and comfortable and we were well taken care of by owner Kiki. Easy access into old Gaeta which we loved exploring. Stay here if you want a real taste of local Italy .

Lots of Space, Meets Every Need

4 of 5
Nicola and Nausicaa are very nice and were very accommodating during our stay. They met us at the house upon our arrival and even picked a few things up for us at the store since it would be closing shortly after our arrival! Norberto was also very helpful and all speak English. They want you to enjoy their home as much as they do! Quiet neighbourhood on a dead-end street. The house was large with lots of space. Four comfortable bedrooms upstairs, three with a Queen bed and one with a twin and two twin-sized folding beds. All with plenty of storage. The main living area was large and open with a very deep and comfortable couch that could easily double as a bed. New large glass kitchen table (purchased for us during our stay to replace an older table that had broken). The house had many conveniences: surround-sound entertainment system with overhead projector, Sky cable network, large (mostly Italian) library in entryway. The main kitchen is small but works just fine and includes plenty of dishes, cups, utensils, pots, pans, etc. Includes an Italian coffee “moka” and an American style coffee maker. Kitchen also has a microwave. The house was also “child-ready”, with a carseat, new pack-n-play crib, single stroller, children’s toys including playhouse in backyard. The yard is large and has a private gate, with plenty of room inside the gate to park a rental car. The back yard has an outdoor kitchen with hotplates and a wood burning pizza oven. The basement adds an entire separate floor to the house and includes a large living space and a kitchen larger than the one on the main floor. However, we did not use the basement or basement kitchen during our stay because we didn’t need to. There is only one shower/bathtub in the house, but a separate toilet on the ground level. It is only about a 30-minute walk to the center and to the train station, but plenty of parking near the station if you have a car. There is a small children’s park and bar around the corner (2-minute walk) and a large children’s park (Parco Kennedy) is about a 10-minute walk. Nearest grocery store is about a 5-minute walk. Thursday morning market near Parco Kennedy has everything from food to clothing to housewares. If you’re looking for some good food, try Molo 21 (Lungomare Guglielmo Marconi, 21) or Il Bettolino in Piazza Trieste. Thank you to Nicola and Nausicaa and Norberto for being so helpful and accommodating!

Fantastic views and very peaceful

5 of 5
My family and I booked a last minute holiday to this villa, and was very impressed at how helpful and amenable the owner was. We arrived at 8pm and the owner was waiting for us, to open the gates and show us everything. It is a very well equipped house, with the most wonderful views you could hope for. A short distance from the house is the pool which my children adored, even in October. It was very pleasant laying poolside and still seeing the wonderful views. The owners own holiday home is set just in front of the villa, and both Andrea & his wife were very informative and soon provided me with a toaster and hair dryer when asked. This was a very relaxing family holiday, and very much enjoyed even more, due to the position and comfort of the villa. The internet was very reliable which was an obvious bonus. We hope to return again next year. Thank you Andrea.
