Wonderful spot close to downtown Rome

5 of 5
Wow- Marco and Daniele were absolutely wonderful, and the flat is stunning. Marco was very easily reachable and extremely helpful with recommendations of where to eat in the area where the flat is. Daniele was as friendly as can be and also kind and helpful with regards to parking and getting around Rome. The flat is a good size with plenty of sleeping accommodations. The price is very reasonable and this is because it is not in "downtown" Rome, but it is only about a 10 minute cab ride away. The cab cost us about 15 Euro to get down there, but if you are renting this flat it's probably because you are traveling with many people. Splitting a few cabs is very reasonable with a large group, so we figured it was worth staying a bit outside of the city. Also, you get to see a real "neighborhood" and not just a tourist trap. We loved it and next time in Rome would definitely stay there again!! Thanks Marco and Daniele for an awesome place to crash in Rome!

History Beauty And More

5 of 5
Villa Accetta was a magical setting and provided for a perfect get away. Walking through the gates of the villa you are welcomed by a charming courtyard and awesome views across the Gulf of Gaeta. The villa is built on Roman ruins and incorporates some of the ancient artifacts into it's construction. The scale of time surrounds you. Our stay was in apartment studio No. 4. It was cozy, clean and provided for all of our needs. We also had the pleasure of visiting most of the other apartments, all of which were very impressive. The villa location proved to be very convenient, providing walking access to restaurants, groceries, and bus stops for travel to nearby cities and the train station in Formia. The villa's host was friendly, informative and accommodating. I would recommend a stay at Villa Accetta to family and friends.
