I stayed at this Rome property in July 2014 with my wife and teen-age daughter. It was quite adequate for our needs and I would probably stay there again. It's located on a quiet, mostly car-less street populated by local residents, restaurants, and shops. It's very close to Navona square, and quite close to the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain (under reconstruction), St. Peter's Basilica, Spanish steps, and many other scenic and historical attractions. We walked to St. Peter's and the Pantheon every day! It's a long walk from the railway station but we only had to do that once, and I think a taxi or metro would take just as long as walking.
There is a big bed in the bedroom and a fold-out sofa in the living room. There's a small kitchen area with a good refrigerator. The kitchen is not very well equipped, though we did use it to make instant coffee and toast. There's no dishwasher, and kitchen stuff was not clean -- perhaps put away, half-cleaned by other visitors.
Wifi worked great. Air conditioner worked great. Plumbing was not well maintained. The shower had lots of mildew and the shower door leaked and flooded the bathroom. There was a distinct mildew smell especially in the bedroom that was difficult to completely forget. In general the place was not well designed, maintained, cleaned, or cared-for. There's a step in the hall / kitchen-area with black tile all around. Each of us tripped on that step a dozen times, though never fatally!
The management offers a driver, Antonio, who drove us to the airport at the end of our stay. He was reasonable, reliable, on-time, safe, and communicative in making arrangements.
The management and administration of this place did not communicate well -- I'm sure they thought I was high-maintenance. My initial query and scheduling was handled by Nicola. I sent my deposit to Nausi. And Iryna would handle my arrival, though I didn't get an email address for her yet. I made the reservation 9 months before my stay and when I tried to reconfirm my reservation a few weeks before my arrival, nobody responded until my third try -- this didn't leave a fuzzy feeling that everything would execute well! Eventually they sent me an email address for Iryna. Finally we arrived at the property on time and waited and waited -- it turned out that the property address that Nicola originally sent us 9 months previously was wrong -- Iryna was waiting at the correct place. Still we had a great time in Rome!
