GREAT SPOT

5 of 5
A friend and I stayed at this house for 8 days. Tano was the perfect host. He was able to provide everything we needed. He gave us all the necessary information on local activities including buses, ferries, taxi drivers, etc. He was always available immediately if there were any questions about anything either by email or by phone. The villa itself was immaculate. Everything was exceptionally clean. This villa is a little off the beaten path; however, that is one of the best things about it. Ravello is not as busy as the other towns on the Amalfi coast. After being in Rome and Venice, this was great. From Ravello, you can take a ferry or bus to anywhere else along the Amalfi coast. There are a lot of steps to get to the property from the parking lot, but if you are worried about steps, you should avoid the Amalfi coast altogether. Tano took care of the luggage to and from the car, so that was not an issue. The views from this property are spectacular. You will not be disappointed if you stay here. Also, I highly recommend Salvatore Fortunato if you need a taxi driver. He drove us all the way from Naples to Ravello. He is a very good driver, which is important on those curvy, narrow, mountain roads. We used him several times for other trips as well. We were able to walk to the town square or take the local bus whenever we needed something very easily from this villa. There is also a little store right at the top of the path that has a very friendly store owner, or you could walk a little further down the street to a bigger store for other needs. This place was the best part of our two week stay in Italy. Thank you, Tano!
