Perfect location for family, beautiful ceilings!

5 of 5
Several things make this an exceptionally wonderful apartment for a Rome vacation for a family. First, the location is superb. For practical needs, it is one block from Piazza San Eustachio which has two bars to get coffee and breakfast pastries (one of them famous) and a pizza by the slice place which was good. One block in the other direction was a main thoroughfare with a taxi stand, grocery store and bank. For sightseeing, it was literally 2 blocks from the Pantheon and a very quick walk to Piazza Navona and Trevi Fountain. Second, staying her is like staying in a piece of history---a museum or church. The sky high original 16th century carved ceilings, beautiful wood work on the doors and doorways, the monumental historic front door, and period furnishings made the family feel that their Roman experience continued while we were in the apartment. It was a very special space to be able to stay in. Third, Giorgia was an exceptional hostess and property manager. She was extremely flexible in making last minute arrangements to rent the apartment, was flexible with our changing flight plans, our limited ability to communicate, our banking issues, and she met us with a friendly smile and helpful information, which was welcome after travelling so long and being so tired. She was wonderful. Whenever we had a request while staying in the apartment, she responded immediately. Finally, travelling with two teenage daughters it was awesome to have two bedrooms AND a sleeping loft AND two identical bathrooms. The WIFI worked perfectly to support 7 devices at once. Two things of note. The apartment's windows face the street so there is some street noise that may only be an issue if you have jet lag and are struggling to sleep like us--so just bring some ear plugs. (Some street noise is to be expected--you are in the city on a narrow cobblestone street!--just plan for it) Second, tell Georgia in advance if you plan on using the bed in the sleeping loft so they can make it up in advance.

Wonderful place for large family

5 of 5
We stayed at this apartment during Christmas week 2014. Our family had 15 people from 3 generations. This apartment worked incredibly well for our group. There was enough space for us all to spend time together, and also enough space for us to find peace and quiet when needed. The 4 showers enabled our large group to get out in the morning in a timely way. The two washers/dryers and two dishwashers were really helpful with a group our size. And the location really can't be beat. It's halfway between the Pantheon and Campo Di Fiori, a 2 minute walk from each. If we were forced to make one negative comment, the wifi was weak in the furthest bedroom. We would highly recommend this apartment to any large families travelling to Rome. We were able to go out together as a group during the day, and then walk around in smaller groups at night before or after dinner. There is a great capucinno /cornetto spot around the corner as well that became a morning ritual for us. Some of us in the group are runners, and this was an excellent base from which to explore the city running as well as walking. We had a magical stay and would definitely stay there again when we return to Rome.

Great location for exploring Rome

5 of 5
This apartment worked out perfectly for us, since we were two cousins traveling together. The location, close to but not on the Campo dei Fiori, is perfect for exploring the main tourist sites. Angelo was responsive to questions and arranged driver for trip to airport, who showed up punctually on our last morning. I slept fine the bed which was very large and confortable. The apartment is nicely furnished.
