Wonderful stay in Narni

5 of 5
We spent a very pleasant week mid-May 2013 at this very comfortable apartment. The rooms are actually far more spacious than they appear in the photos. The views from the terraces were amazing and it was so pleasant sitting outside in the late afternoons with the lovely sweet perfume of star jasmine carried up on the breeze from the garden below. There was everything we possibly could have needed in the kitchen and more, except for a kettle! The apartment is very centrally located and just minutes walk to a number of restaurants and grocery stores. We had no trouble in finding a free car parking space in the car park below the town and travelling up to the top via the funicular and lift saved our legs from a climb. Narni itself is well located for sightseeing in various directions. Civita di Bagnoregio, Villa Lante near Viterbo, Orvieto, Perugia, Spello, Montefalco, Bevagna and the Sabine Hills are places we visited and all are easy day trips. We wouldn't hesitate recommending this apartment to anyone considering a stay in Umbria.
