LIVING THE DOLCE VITA!

5 of 5
This is the quintessential Tuscan hill town villa! What an awesome experience from first arrival and the journey up the driveway to grand views of the hills and valley to all the comforts of home. It is rooted in the history of the place with strong connections to the land with the garden rich in fresh fruits of the earth. This was a family vacation with three kids [teen-20 something]. We engaged in a fabulous al fresco dinner under the wisteria and the pool is perfectly situated at the heart of both houses. Big enough for all to find their comfort yet situated for all to gather.... Excursions into the village down the narrow path are fun for all- we even saw a porcupine. We couldn't have asked for more! FABULOUS PLACE FOR A RELAXING WEEK IN TUSCANY!

5 of 5
What a fabulous place! Recently spent a week here with a dozen friends. The villa was spacious and incredibly comfortable, even with all of us in it. Additionally, the house is filled with gorgeous art and a huge selection of books, to help anyone feel at home. The kitchen is well-equipped and spacious enough for several to work. The area is truly picturesque, including great views from inside and outside the house. Also, we found the housekeeper Anna to be a lovely, and the cook Paola's food spectacular. (Note we had to arrange Paola separately through the owner.) Definitely a fabulous place for a relaxing week in Tuscany!

A FIRST-CLASS VILLA IN THE HILLS OF TUSCANY

5 of 5
Our family just returned to the U.S. after a three-week stay at Villa Segale. We had hoped for a trip of a lifetime, and Villa Segale helped deliver that trip in all respects. Our family of eleven, ranging in ages from 6 to 69, thoroughly enjoyed the recently-restored villa, the surrounding acreage of vineyards/olive and fruit trees, the pool, and the magnificent view of Lucca and Pisa. The villa interior was tastefully decorated while retaining some of the 11th-century farmhouse charm, and was certainly large enough to accommodate our family. We used the villa as a "base' from which family members could travel by auto or train to Venice, Florence, Rome and other parts of Italy, and that worked out extremely well. Family members said they looked forward to returning to the villa for rest and relaxation before continuing to explore Italy. The villa description, as provided, was accurate in all respects, and the property was very well maintained. Marco, the owner, and Michela, the villa manager, were very helpful with any questions we had about our travels, restaurants in the area, chefs available to come to the villa, etc. We would definitely recommend Villa Segale to our friends and family, and we certainly hope to return someday soon! Ciao, Ronnie
