Clean, well kept, good location

5 of 5
Our hostess, Silvia, met us at the train station [we took the train from Rome] and took us to her rental apartment which was clean, well maintained, and we liked the location. We found an excellent restaurant 2 minutes away and a Gelato shop up 1/2 block that was one of the best we found during our month in Italy. We used the main train terminal when we were coming and going. The tram stop from the apt was a 5 minute walk and it ended at the station where we could find a bus that would take us where we wanted to go. Silvia had maps for us and marked where we wanted to go. A bathroom light went out, and Silvia had her father out right away to fix it. I would definitely recommend her apt. We stayed 7 days. If you go to Florence, make a reservation for the Uffizi Gallery at least a month out.. Bruce & Joan Wallace San Jose, CA

Super Nice!

This is a very new building set in a nice Florence neighborhood. The owner and his daughter were just the nicest hosts. They gave us many recommendations on where to go downtown and pointed us to the light rail train that is a 10 minute walk from their house. For a 1.2 Euro ride we avoided the hassles of getting to all the sites. The rooms are large and comfortable. We had two teenage girls and they loved the loft. We actually added an extra day to our Florence trip because we knew we had such a nice place. Highly recommended!
