WELCOME HOME TO TUSCANY!

5 of 5
A beautiful authentic Italian villa, in the midst of the Tuscan countryside. All the benefits of being "off the grid", while in close proximity to the wonders of Florence and Siena, and numerous spectacular Tuscan villages. The property is exactly as it is described; the views are spectacular from each and every window. The home is immaculate and the owner is attentive without crowding you.

A PERFECT AND IDYLLIC PLACE TO STAY IN TUSCANY.

5 of 5
We stayed at Le Argille to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with our children, their spouses and our grandchildren. There were 12 of us - six adults and six children ranging in age from almost 2 to almost 12 years. The villa is beautifully located amongst olive groves with a commanding and lovely view of the surrounding countryside. While quiet and secluded, It is very convenient to Florence, Sienna and other hill towns. We used both the villa and the guest house and were extremely comfortable. The property has been beautifully restored with every modern convenience while still retaining its charm and original character. The facilities include a large, wonderful infinity pool and hot tub, which was used and appreciated by us (especially the kids) after a day of sightseeing. The children also loved the soccer field and the wonderful tree house on the property. There is air-conditioning, a washer-dryer in the villa and another in the guest house. This property is ideal for families but would be equally wonderful for 3 -4 couples. The entire property was well maintained, immaculate and comfortable. We enjoyed having drinks and dinner (prepared by the resident caretaker/cook), at the outdoor kitchen/ dining area and pavilion. (The dinners and breakfasts are at an additional, but very reasonable cost and were wonderful.) The agent for the property was welcoming and extremely helpful. She made sure that all was perfect. The caretaker/cook made us so comfortable and prepared meals that everyone loved. She was indispensable. The only problem with staying at Le Argille is that we had to leave - no one wanted to.

A TUSCAN JEWEL !

5 of 5
Best way to sum up our stay is that we were truly, truly sad to leave...it will be for 2 weeks (or more) next time. The site (Borgo) is quaint, beautiful and quiet. The infinity pool is out of this world and enjoying a nice glass of Chianti Classico (bought in local wineries on our numerous day trips) by the pool each evening, with views on Volterra across the valley, was splendid! We were well received by the manager of the Boscaiola who was extremely polite and pleasant (even though we arrived a bit late and kept him from the Mondiale, with Italy playing...). The unit (Boscaiola) was very comfortable, extremely clean, and had all required amenities (appreciated the washing machine which is a rare find). The location of Borgo di Mommialla is also great, close to Gambassi Terme, San Gimignano, and Volterra. We visited pretty well all of Tuscany on our day trips and concluded that this area is the most picturesque. After each day off bombing around the countryside we were always happy to come 'home' to the beautiful and peaceful Borgo. Italy - awesome; Tuscany - breathtaking; La Boscaiola - priceless This isn't heaven on earth....but you can see it from here! Highly recommended.
