My family of four (myself, my husband, and my 8 year old daughter and 12 year old son) stayed for a week in August at the apartment. Everyone single one of us loved the apartment. The lay out is perfect for families or for couples staying together since the bedrooms are at the opposite ends of the apartment and afford privacy. There is also a sofa bed in the living room that can be utilized as another separate sleeping place. The apartment is stocked with all the necessities that you would need for a longer stay--a washing machine, drying rack, kitchen with cookware. The location can not be beat. Except for a trip to Ostia Antica which is located further out and required a subway and train trip, we were able to walk to all the major sights we wanted to see within 15-25 minutes--The Vatican Museum and St. Peter's, the Colleseum and the Forum, and Villa Borghese Gardens. Piazza Navona, and Campo di Fiori are less than a 10 minute walk and the Pantheon is just a few blocks away which makes it perfect for popping in early in the morning when it first opens so you can practically have the Pantheon to yourself. There were tons of great places to eat within walking distance and a grocery store less than 5 minutes away as well. Our visit to Italy was during the typical Italian vacation period in August and although there were some shops and restaurants closed, we still found many, many places to eat and shop even. We used the drivers associated with the apartment for pick up and drop off at the airport and the drivers were prompt and courteous. I also found Dimitri to be very prompt and helpful in his e-mail responses as I had additional questions leading up to the trip. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a great place!
