Wonderful location

4 of 5
This property is a 5 minute stroll to Campo di Fiori, only 2 minutes from a major bus stop, and only steps from a grocery store. It is next door to the fabulous small restaurant, Osteria 140. All appliances are modern, the flat is fully air conditioned. The landlord provides a cell phone with his number on speed dial, and his English is excellent. WiFi was excellent. AND it has an elevator in the building. The only minor criticism we had was that the apartment shows a little wear from rentals... rugs could be cleaned and there was some mildew in the shower, but those concerns were minor in relation to the wonderful location and the modern conveniences. We enjoyed our stay and would return.

Fantastic location

4 of 5
I stayed at this Rome property in July 2014 with my wife and teen-age daughter. It was quite adequate for our needs and I would probably stay there again. It's located on a quiet, mostly car-less street populated by local residents, restaurants, and shops. It's very close to Navona square, and quite close to the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain (under reconstruction), St. Peter's Basilica, Spanish steps, and many other scenic and historical attractions. We walked to St. Peter's and the Pantheon every day! It's a long walk from the railway station but we only had to do that once, and I think a taxi or metro would take just as long as walking. There is a big bed in the bedroom and a fold-out sofa in the living room. There's a small kitchen area with a good refrigerator. The kitchen is not very well equipped, though we did use it to make instant coffee and toast. There's no dishwasher, and kitchen stuff was not clean -- perhaps put away, half-cleaned by other visitors. Wifi worked great. Air conditioner worked great. Plumbing was not well maintained. The shower had lots of mildew and the shower door leaked and flooded the bathroom. There was a distinct mildew smell especially in the bedroom that was difficult to completely forget. In general the place was not well designed, maintained, cleaned, or cared-for. There's a step in the hall / kitchen-area with black tile all around. Each of us tripped on that step a dozen times, though never fatally! The management offers a driver, Antonio, who drove us to the airport at the end of our stay. He was reasonable, reliable, on-time, safe, and communicative in making arrangements. The management and administration of this place did not communicate well -- I'm sure they thought I was high-maintenance. My initial query and scheduling was handled by Nicola. I sent my deposit to Nausi. And Iryna would handle my arrival, though I didn't get an email address for her yet. I made the reservation 9 months before my stay and when I tried to reconfirm my reservation a few weeks before my arrival, nobody responded until my third try -- this didn't leave a fuzzy feeling that everything would execute well! Eventually they sent me an email address for Iryna. Finally we arrived at the property on time and waited and waited -- it turned out that the property address that Nicola originally sent us 9 months previously was wrong -- Iryna was waiting at the correct place. Still we had a great time in Rome!

Simply Amazing

5 of 5
This apartment is a true gem immersed in the most amazing surrounding overlooking the golf. The property exceeded our every expectation and was even better than what we could have imagined by reading the description. Every detail during our stay was tailored to our every need, from arranging a driver pick us up to organising a private tour of the city. Giovanni was an incredible host that helped us with organising the itinerary of our stay, so that we did not miss anything worth seing. Every service imaginable that we requested during our stay, was kindly carried out by Giovanni or if unavailable the on site staff. I would recommend future guests to ask Giovanni to organise a night with a personal chef as the food was incredible and created an incredible atmosfere for an unforgettable night. Another great restaurant that is just walking distance from the property is "Pane and Olio", where we were treated exceptionally well and ate divinely. The amazing gardens that surround the property are simply sensational and Francesco the gardner gave me great advice on how to curate my plants at home! The Parco di Roma Golf is an incredible golf with an beautiful layout and stunning views. Playing a golf course that is surrounded by etruscan ruins really makes you feel that you are in a special place. I would definitely recommend this property to all my friends and family and as a matter of fact hope to return for my christmas holidays! Thank you Giovanni for hosting us in you lovely apartment and for making our stay in Roma a once in a lifetime experience!!
