BEST LOCATION!!!

5 of 5
Sorry it's taken me a few weeks to write this review but we arrive from Europe on July 14th and were quite busy getting our lives back in order. We arrived at Fabrizio's flat in Campo de Fiori on June 26th for 4 days. We were not expecting the location to be so convenient. Fabrizio and Rosella were great from the beginning of the booking to our arrival. We enjoyed our days walking everywhere and sometimes returning to the flat to take a break, before continuing with our sightseeing. My son is a Celiac and we were able to find a great pizza place around the corner from the flat by the name of Voglia di Pizza that offered an extensive gluten free menu . We hope to return to Rome once again and would definitely stay at this flat. Fabrizio thank you once again.

GREAT APARTMENT, TERRIBLE CARETAKER!

4 of 5
We really loved the apartment, it is spacious, historic, and has a lot of character. It has lovely tiles in the kitchen and bathrooms and a fantastic terrace. We didn't like the caretaker though and, in fact, never saw him. We waited over an hour outside the apartment with our luggage for someone to finally let us in but it was not the caretaker, someone else he knew. Later in the week some workmen let themselves into the apartment at 7:30am and then apologized saying that the caretaker had not told them that there were people staying in the apartment. It was very disturbing and disappointing because we really liked the apartment but the owner needs to have a more responsible caretaker. I tried to call his cell phone during the week when we had some trouble with the keys but he did not reply. We felt that we had no one to communicate with once we were there and something went wrong.

GREAT PLACE TO STAY IN ROME

4 of 5
We had a lovely stay at the Beatrice apartment. It's a two minute walk to Campo de Fiori. But it's tucked away on a small side / alley street, so you don't hear any street noise from foot or car traffic. I am a very light sleeper, and I had no problems sleeping! It's a small apartment, but it worked well for the two of us as we didn't spend that much time inside the apartment during the day. There was construction going on upstairs during our stay. But as we weren't inside during the day much, it didn't bother us too much. Location is just amazing, you are 5-10 min walk from many bus stops. You can walk to Piazza Navona (probably a 10-15 min walk). And the apartment is on the ground floor (which is great if you had a long day of walking). There is a front door entrance to the building and then another door to the unit. We felt safe in this area, even walking at night.
