                        Spacious apartment well placed

                        5 of 5
My husband, teenager and I stayed at this apartment in July. The check-in process was smooth and quick. The owner has created a binder of helpful information such as nearby stores as well as appliance instructions. The apartment is lovely: it’s clean, with comfortable beds. The kitchen was small but very functional. Two of us are Celiac so we ate several meals at the apartment and found groceries (Carrefour Express or Pam grocery store) a short walk across the river and on to the main streets or gluten free buns or pasta (at all farmacias). It was helpful that there was an apartment safe but the neighbourhood was quiet. An added convenience was a washer and dryer in the apartment. The wireless internet worked well and was very helpful as we used our tablet to research information for the next day’s excursions. The apartment is very well positioned (south of the Vatican at the top end of Trastevere on the west bank of the Tiber River). We walked to the Colosseum (about 40 minutes) and Piazza Navona (20 minutes). There is a view from only the downstairs bedroom window which is lovely but no real views from any other windows. If you walk to the top of the street you have a great view down to the street, river and beyond. There is a flight of stairs to get to the street then it’s a steep walk most of the way up the street to the apartment. The owner cares about his guests having a good experience and I would be happy to stay here again!

                        Super Apartment

                        5 of 5
This apartment was wonderful!! We were in Rome for a week with a family of five (two adults and three children). The location was right in the middle of everything (Vatican, Trastevere, Campo de' Fiori, etc). We walked to all of the major sights in Rome. Not to mention the road it is on is of historical importance (Via Giulia, google it). The apartment had an amazing terrace where you could relax. What you don’t realize is that the two main buildings next to the apartment are the French Embassy (Plazzo Franese) and Palazzo Spada both built in the 1500’s and worth visiting. The apartment was well appointed with all the necessary items and was extremely comfortable. It was very spacious and the billiards table was a big hit with my three boys. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone who is visiting Rome. It has plenty of room for two couples or a large family.
