Great home in Rome!

5 of 5
Our family of 4 stayed in Giuseppe's apartment for a week this winter and it completely lived up to the hype in all of the previous reviews. We had a great night tour with Giuseppe that helped us get oriented to Rome (and got us to some beautiful city overlooks we would never have found otherwise). I was thinking on our second day that the only thing missing was extra towels for the hot tub - and literally as I was thinking this Giuseppe showed up with extra towels. Its an easy walk (~10 minutes) from the apartment downhill into the fun little neighborhood just north of the Ponte Milvio over the Tiber and easier still to catch a bus at the stop just a few blocks from the apartment. The kitchen was well appointed and the espresso maker was a very nice touch. The hot tub was a great way to end long days of walking all over Rome. You are definitely not in the thick of Rome's tourist hub if you stay here (its a good 15-30 minute public transport commute into town), but for us the tradeoff in having such a great place to stay and such a nice, locals neighborhood to come home to was totally worth it. Thanks Giuseppe!

We fell in love with this house!

5 of 5
We had a fantastic family vacation in this amazing house. After full days of visits in the center of Rome, it was so relaxing and enjoyable to be in such a calm and serene place, with such a caring housekeeper paying attention to every details. It made our vacation so special. We really felt something unique in this house: you could feel the warmth of its owners and the soul of their family. Our kids (5 from 7 to 19) immediately had the impression to be "at home" and enjoyed the big lawns and the huge pool so much. We are still dreaming of our breakfast and dinners on the terrace or in the summer dining room. We hope to go back soon!
