Most enjoyable stay in a lovely place

5 of 5
I agree with everyone who said how much they enjoyed their stay here. Stefano was great to deal with and very willing to figure out how I could pay without spending a fortune of a US bank draft! It was unusually hot and humid for the time of year, according to local people, but the fans provided made it comfortable. The deck/patio was wonderful and there was even a barbecue so we could cook outside. It was the end of the season and the plants were looking a bit the worse for wear so I hope they recover! Parking was always available and we drove the scary Amalfi coast road to Sorrento and Pompeii. Fantastic! If I were to make any suggestion, it would be to replace the screens and clean out the mezzanine window so it could be opened for a breeze, and to get the shower in the second bathroom working - not a big problem, but it would be nice. Can't say enough good about the restaurant Le Bonta Del Capo. They were so helpful and welcoming even though it was very busy (we picked up the keys there.) The food was amazing and the atmosphere magic. The small supermarket in Conca is also great, stocking an amazing variety of items.

Everything was perfect

The place was clean and ready for all of us. The attention of our landlord was excellent. Very patient and helpful. The entire expirience was great and I recommend the place and the people in charge to anyone. Thank you again

Just Do It!

5 of 5
Villa Mirabella is a wonderful, magical place, perfect for families and friends. Located in Conca Dei Marini, it is off the beaten path of the Amalfi coast, so it is quieter, more informal and more "authentic" than some of the region's better-known destinations. Still, it is an easy hop to Amalfi, Positano, Ravello, etc. The accommodations are beautiful -- spotless, artfully decorated and spacious enough for a group of 14. Each room has its own entrance and bath and TV. The main house has two refrigerators, dishwasher, microwave in a charming kitchen. We made meals for 14, buying provisions from the small market down the hill and from the lovely butcher whose store is 20m from the villa entrance. Photos don't do justice to the beauty of the view. From the pool, from the dining patio, from the gazebo, you can see the beautiful sea and watch ships, ferries and yachts, and you can also see Capri. What truly sets Villa Mirabella apart is the love you will feel from the owners, Miriam and Antonio, whose friendly, excellent restaurant is, conveniently, just down the hill. No request is to large or small. Need transportation to Amalfi, Positano, Pompeii, Naples? Done. Want an outdoor massage overlooking the sea? No problem. A boat to ferry you and your party to Capri? No sweat. A pizza-making lesson at the restaurant, led by the wonderful chef Fiore? Done. Miriam and Antonio became our friends, our family. And did I mention that there's a turf soccer field above the restaurant where the kids can play or pick up a game? Oh yeah, there's also a wonderful, funky beach club down the hill for swimming, sunning, dining and pretending you're one of the locals or Neapolitians out for the weekend. Convinced? I hope so.
