When can we come back?

5 of 5
Perfect trip. I was not sure about Ireland to begin with... I heard it rains a lot, but this was not the case for us. We were on Arranmore Island for 6 nights and it did not rain once. I am sure it does rain in the off season or whatever...because everything is so Green and lush there. Anyway, great time all together. Do we get a second timers discount if we come back?! Ha-Ha! Thank you for all of your help in planning our trip as well as renting us your beautiful home. Spot on. Will be staying with you again should we visit Ireland again. Neil, Barb and family

World Class 2

5 of 5
After spending years thinking & talking it over, our extended Family of 17 finally got it together and made the decision to spend a 3 week Summer vacation in Ireland (2013), it was something else, we thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it, unfortunately, only a week of that time (the last week) was spent at this incredible house, in what is, a world class location. Staying here was without a doubt the highlight of our vacation (a 3 weeks that had many many highlights), and for many of us probably the best week of our lives.... as a Family together... definitely the best, the only downside was that we had not had the foresight to book the house for the entire vacation, we didn't know, nor could we have guessed from the website that this beautiful house and its magnificent location was in fact far superior than its description and photos, we'll know better next time. Noelle Scanlon and Family Georgia U.S.A P.S. Shirley, I know from our many (fun) discussions with you that you don't need us to tell you this, but once again, you do need to work on this aspect of your business and put your modesty aside, any "hype" in photos and description of your home and its location just can't be enough, I do accept full responsibility for doubting same, and thereby limiting our time there, but thank you from each and everyone one of us for all of your warm and helpful hospitality during our stay,it truly is , and was for us a world case experience.`

Lovely, quiet, perfectly placed

5 of 5
I rented this cottage for a month to finish a book I was working on. It has lovely views, is walking distance to the beach and there are great hill walks through the Burren right out your door. Mary, the owner, lives a short walk away, and was a great and thoughtful hostess. There's a typical pub a short walk away, but shop the farmers' market in Ballyvaughn or the supermarket in Ennistimon and cook up a storm in the beautiful new kitchen. There is another cottage next door and a few others on the road, but this a quiet spot, with more cows and horses around than people. The place is brand new, and tastefully appointed. Of course, the weather in this part of Ireland involves a lot of rain, so be prepared for that.
