NICE APARTMENT, BUT WATCH THE DETAILS

4 of 5
This is a nice clean apartment, conveniently located. Users should be made aware of the following: 1. The office where keys are picked up is not close to the apartment. No one was available at the apartment. 2. There is an extra charge for parking: 50 euros a week. This was not mentioned in the quote even though I specifically said parking was required. 3. We had to ask the manager to visit the apartment to show us how to use the kitchen facilities and the TV. No manuals or instructions were in the apartment. 4. Expect very little in the kitchen: No condiments--"salt and pepper shakers" listed on the inventory were paper samples from a fast food place. There were no paper towels or hot pot holders. The coffee pot is a small French press. 5. While there is plenty of light from large windows on either end of the apartment, the only "view" is of other apartment windows sharing a view of each other. 6. The concierge for the buildings is not involved with specific apartment concerns, but is a valuable resource for information about the area.

CHIC MEWS HOUSE IN CENTRAL DUBLIN

5 of 5
My husband and I were looking to stay in Dublin for approx. 3 months to catch up with family and friends, but didn't want to overstay our welcome staying with family! The problem was finding suitable accommodation, in a central location, which was smart enough for my fussy tastes (!) but also not in a soulless apartment block. Kavanagh Mews is a smart, bright and airy two bedroomed mews house in a quiet lane, albeit very close to the centre of town. It also benefits from 2 private courtyard gardens allowing you very welcome access to outside space. It is maintained beautifully by it's owner Una, who is also very quick to deal with issues should they arise. The centre of town is only a 20 minute walk away, although there is a handy taxi rank around the corner. The canal offers a handy local walk, as does nearby Herbert Park or Sandymount Strand a little further away. If you are a rugby fan, the Aviva Stadium is a 7 min walk and the RDS, home of Leinster, a 10 min walk. However the Mews remains mercifully quiet on a big rugby day! We planned to stay for 3 months, but ended staying for 5 months as we were enjoying it so much! The only slight downside is the lack of allocated parking. However, with the exception of 2 occasions, we were able to park outside the property for the full 5 months.

LOCATION IS AMAZING, CLEAN & SPACIOUS

5 of 5
Really enjoyed Grafton street apartment, location was second to none, right in the heart of the city over looking Trinity College grounds. Used VRBO before in Dublin and delighted with out-come. Very large sitting-room over-looking Trinity College gardens, spacious area which is great when you have large family. The kitchen is well equipped and clean. Bedroom at back of property and are quiet at night & comfortable mattresses. Super apartment and would use again.
