Perfect Dinlge Peninsula Vacation

5 of 5
This is an incredible home in a wonderful location. It was truly a fantastic home for a relaxing vacation on the Dingle Peninsula. We had eight adults for a week and had plenty of space. Each couple was very pleased with the sleeping accommodations. The kitchen was spacious and the sun room was wonderful. The house is in excellent shape and very clean. There are great views of Smerwick Harbor and the Three Sisters. We loved the location and enjoyed hiking, golfing, exploring the Dingle Peninsula, and visiting the Blaskets. We mostly cooked for ourselves, but did have excellent dinners at TP's Pub and The Old Pier. We met a number of locals that were incredibly friendly and helpful. All of our interactions with the owner Catherine, the house manager Fidelma, and the maintenance man Tony, were great. They were all helpful and knowledgeable. Everything was handled very professionally. You simply could not find a better spot for a stay on the Dingle Peninsula.

Waters Edge House Is wonderful In so many ways!

5 of 5
My wife and I, and our son and his girlfriend, stayed at Waters Edge House in early August. We truly loved this place. With a beautiful view of Dingle Bay from the living room and main bedroom, it is a quiet and relaxing place. It is very clean, well furnished and stylishly decorated. The photos really do not do justice to the home. It is located within easy walking distance to "downtown" Dingle. At the time we were there, Dingle was very busy. We were grateful that the house was just far enough outside the business district to provide a peaceful oasis. We spent our days shopping, exploring County Kerry's many natural and historical sites, and enjoying golf, kayaking and other activities. At night, we enjoyed Dingle's superb restaurants and pubs, with a nightly variety of music. The hospitality of our hosts, Marion and Grainne, was particularly outstanding. The freshly baked scones and brownies were wonderful. Also, their thoughtful and friendly help with suggestions, recommendations and directions was very impressive. We definitely plan to return.

Great location to explore Dingle Peninsula

5 of 5
The house was as advertised by Shelia on VRBO and in her emails leading up to the rental time. Written instructions for using the house and appliances were just enough to know what to do and what not to do. The house was clean and well maintained. There were no problems. The house included a very nice library and the table in the living room was great for spreading out our topographic map for planning the next day's outings. Given all the monastic and medieval sites that we visited, our time in Dingle turned out to be an amateur archaeology trip. As geologists, we really appreciated all the rock accents in the house! The west coast of Ireland is simply spectacular, so you won't have regrets if all you do is gaze at the ocean for hours on end. As the Irish say, "Brilliant". Kevin & Alison
