Perfect Choice for a getaway

5 of 5
My friends and I stayed here for a weekend break recently, we all loved it. The house is set in a fantastic area of Killarney, nestled in a relatively secluded area yet only a five minute drive into the town. It is an ideal base for anyone wishing to explore Killarney and the surrounding area. The house itself exceeded our expectations, it was a perfect choice for our stay. It is beautifully decorated, fantastically spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen provided an ideal hub for us in the centre of the house overlooking the wonderful garden... we can only imagine during the summer how nice it would be to relax in the patio area or by the fire pit out back. The projection room with the surround sound, comfortable couches and large fireplace however provided an excellent alternative on a wet and wintry Saturday afternoon in November... it was great to put the feet up and enjoy the cinematic experience, we would have loved to stay for longer. It is difficult to list all the things we loved and appreciated about the house, what I would say is that we have booked other houses for weekends before in various places and have been very happy with them but Scartlea House has topped them all. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and hopefully will be back next year :-)

Stunning views, beautiful home

5 of 5
This is a wonderful VRBO, to stay at, on the Dingle Peninsula, by Inch Beach, in West Ireland. It is very private and about a 20 minute drive, to the town of Dingle. It is also, in a great location, for day drives. The house is tastefully decorated, with striking details and soothing colors. The 180 degree views, of Dingle Bay and the ocean, immediately draw you in, welcoming you to unwind, on the Emerald Isle. Across the bay, you can enjoy a magical, sweeping view, of the Ring of Kerry. The beautiful kitchen is well equipped and the many beds are comfortable, with soft duvets and pillows. The abundance of bathrooms are modern, with plenty of towels and delightful soaps and lotions. This is a spacious VRBO, for families or a group of friends or even someone just wanting to relax. There is a large private deck, outdoor table and yard; plenty of parking; and an efficent washer and dryer. Inch Beach is expansive, a haven for shell seekers. There is a great supermarket, in Dingle, if you prefer cooking, as well as many restaurants. It was very easy to work with the owner, and, her house manager is friendly and helpful. The owner of this house has exquisite taste. We will definitely return, to this delihtful VRBO.

Waters Edge House Is wonderful In so many ways!

5 of 5
My wife and I, and our son and his girlfriend, stayed at Waters Edge House in early August. We truly loved this place. With a beautiful view of Dingle Bay from the living room and main bedroom, it is a quiet and relaxing place. It is very clean, well furnished and stylishly decorated. The photos really do not do justice to the home. It is located within easy walking distance to "downtown" Dingle. At the time we were there, Dingle was very busy. We were grateful that the house was just far enough outside the business district to provide a peaceful oasis. We spent our days shopping, exploring County Kerry's many natural and historical sites, and enjoying golf, kayaking and other activities. At night, we enjoyed Dingle's superb restaurants and pubs, with a nightly variety of music. The hospitality of our hosts, Marion and Grainne, was particularly outstanding. The freshly baked scones and brownies were wonderful. Also, their thoughtful and friendly help with suggestions, recommendations and directions was very impressive. We definitely plan to return.
