Simply perfect!

5 of 5
Our family (me, my husband, our two young boys and my mother) had a wonderful stay in the beautiful village of Howth. The pictures don't do the cottage justice - it's more spacious and even more beautiful! The property is well maintained, the beds comfortable and there were plenty of towels for all of us. As we only stayed for four nights we felt we didn't have enough time to enjoy the cottage, or the charming village. There are lots of nice looking restaurants and the village seems vibrant. Beshoff's fish and chips and Maud's ice cream got a thumbs up even from our at times fussy 4-year old! On arrival we were pleasantly surprised to find a travel cot provided for our baby as this hadn't been previously specified. Peter was wonderful in keeping in touch and provided plenty of useful information regarding both the property and Howth. We would definitely recommend this property and I'm pretty sure we will be renting it again.

A wonderful experience!

Old Connaught House is located on one of the quiet back roads of Little Bray. The apartment is on the second floor with an elevator providing easy access for those times you are toting luggage, etc. It offers magnificent views of Bray Head beyond the well manicured grounds. The apartment itself is spacious and has all the amenities of home. There is a local supermarket (SuperValue) nearby. Bray is within walking distance and there is easy access to public transportation. For those driving, the M-50 and N11 are moments away. This was a terrific location for either exploring Dublin City or heading south to visit Wicklow and Wexford. Sarah and Anne could not have been more helpful in making sure this was wonderful stay. Hope to see you again soon!

Loved it, hated to leave

First thanks to the staff that made this available for us.We had a wonderful time in Dublin. What a interesting, historic and vibrant city. The apartment situated in the docklands was the perfect spot for us. It was a very quite neighborhood and 20 min walk will take just about anywhere you would want to go in the city. The city bus also had a stop within 5 min of the building. My wife loved the theater next door and we were able to take in a musical one evening. The accommodations were very good , beds were comfy and loads of hotwater. The wifi worked excellent and enabled those that wished to catch up on the emails and facebook. As mentioned in some of the other reviews the appliances are a little outdated but hey, we usually only ate breakfast and was gone the rest of the day. With 900 plus pubs and countless eating establishments, who wants to cook anyway. There is a spar convenience store 2 min away and a fresh food store 3 min away that has everything you would ever need to cook. Absolutely loved it and if we are ever lucky enough to go back i will definitely try to stay there again very highly recommend it
